Remember family holidays from days gone by…that sweet scent of bug spray and sunscreen and not a device in sight?

Where else will you find a holiday that offers your accommodation, delicious fully-catered meals and activities all in the one place…El Rancho offers all this and more!

Families come in all shapes and sizes…if yours includes grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins and close friends…then that’s totally fine with us. We can’t wait to see you.

We’ve got all the summer fun you need to entertain your whole tribe…kayaking on the pond, swimming in the pool and speeding down the waterslide are just some of the highlights!

IMPORTANT RE PAYMENT:

A 20% deposit will be due at time of registration (by card or direct deposit). You will then be able to pay off the remaining amount across a maximum of four further instalments. Full payment will be due by the 1st of December.

We will need to receive your initial deposit within 7 days of booking, or your registration may be cancelled and your spot offered to the next family on the waitlist.

UPDATE: This event has SOLD OUT and we have a very long waitlist.

We have had a huge response, which is a great thing but we also understand how many people will be disappointed that they've missed out.

Please note: That option is just accommodation and some complimentary activities most days but not the catering or additional entertainment included with Family Camp.

What's included?

The Camp includes the following:

Three nights accommodation in your own motel unit, cabin or on a campsite (BYO tent/caravan).
Nine fully catered meals – kicking off with dinner on Tuesday through to a packed lunch to take with you on Friday.
A great line up of entertainment for the whole family.
An exciting range of onsite activities including Horseriding, Rockwall, Archery, Kayaks and so much more!

What does Family Camp look like?

Food - Walking away from Family Camp is more like rolling away from Family Camp; we offer a continental or a full-cooked breakfast each day, along with delicious lunches and dinners to suit all ages. You won't have a chance to get hungry your whole stay!

Activities - the focus each afternoon is El Rancho's onsite activities; try your hand at things like Archery, Crate Stacking or Kayaking*. Prefer to kick back and relax? Our canteen will be open and the pool will keep the kids busy *actual activity schedule to be confirmed and subject to change depending on weather.

Family Events - our team will provide your family with a range of fun entertainment opportunities and you may even win some cool prizes!

Chapel - during the camp, there will be optional faith-based sessions that you are welcome to join. Whether you attend church every week, occasionally or not at all, this is a special family time we'd love you to be part of.

***For some families, financial hardship is a barrier to them attending. If you are in a position to sponsor a family to come, please contact us on programmeinfo@elrancho.co.nz***

Accommodation Options

Motel Accommodation

Wanting the full camp experience with a few more luxuries added in?

These motel units all have a kitchen, bathroom and lounge. A bottom sheet and covered pillow will be provided on each bed, a top sheet, blankets & towels can be added to your booking for $10.00/person.

Motel package

$655 base rate (first person), $110 for each additional person age 4+

**Babies and toddlers welcome, in fact kids 3 years and under are FREE! Please book them as a registered attendee and then email programmeinfo@elrancho.co.nz to have their fee removed before making payment.

Note: Some of our motel units are able to accommodate 10-14 people, so if you're savvy - two families could book together and only pay the additional costs.

Cabin and Campsite Accommodation

Looking for the nostalgic family camp experience?

Then our traditional cabins and campsites are perfect for you!

These options of accommodation have shared bathroom facilities and you will need to bring your own bedding, pillows and towels.

Cabin Package
$325 base rate (first person), $110 for each additional person age 4+

**Babies and toddlers welcome, in fact kids 3 years and under are FREE! Please book them as a registered attendee and then email programmeinfo@elrancho.co.nz to have their fee removed before making payment.

Note: We have a variety of cabin sizes available, with some able to sleep up to 11 people...
...so if you would like to book more than one family together, be in quick for this option as you will only have to pay the initial base rate and then add the additional fees.

Campsite Package
$215 base rate (first person), $110 for each additional person age 4+

Note: the maximum number of guests per campsite is 6. Each campsite can comfortably fit a large family sized tent.
