2Our extensive range of activities provide great team building opportunities for kids and adults alike – just north of Wellington.
We have a professional team of instructors whose primary goal is to provide a fun interactive learning experience, with safety as their top priority.
Our camp activities are all Outdoors Mark certified which means they have been audited and meet the highest safety standards set by Work Safe NZ.
We are certified to a Premium level, which goes over and above what is required for the activities we offer. Click here for a closer look at our certification.

If you'd like to make the most of what El Rancho has to offer, you can book an activity programme.
Your programme will be tailor made based on your camp objectives/values, age & ability and budget.
The package options are priced per participant for the full stay with a minimum of 20 participants.
Packages include a programme from start to finish and can include a mixture of all in and rotational activities.
We also have packages available for groups who may only want to book a couple of activities to enjoy throughout their stay.
Our Group Booking Co-ordinators will be able to guide you on the option that will best suit your group.
**PLEASE NOTE** that most of our activities incur a fee, are subject to availability and need to be booked prior to your stay.
If you're keen to try anything, please let our bookings team know well ahead of your arrival.
Activities that should be available without prior booking are Swimming Pool (in season), Waterslide, Mini Golf, Disc Golf, Discover El Rancho, Orienteering, Petanque, Tennis and Trampolines.

Horse Experience - a great, beginner level introduction to Horse Riding

Animal Survival - an adventure game of survivor combined with tag

Paddle & Pontoon - a fun team challenge Raft Building along with Kayaking on our Pond

Slingshot Paintball - practice your aim in our Slingshot Alley then enjoy an epic game of Paintball
