Don't just learn about school subjects – live them!

The idea that the school camp is just a place for outdoor adventure is a thing of the past. Kids learn best by being involved in real experiences. Our school camps bring subjects like science, technology or social studies to life!

Besides our outdoor summer activities, we have covered rifle and archery ranges, an indoor rockwall, a large gymnasium and other multipurpose buildings. So wet or fine, there's plenty to do.

Our “Wet Weather Wonders” programme includes indoor games and group problem-solving challenges which link into the school curriculum. Our historical Apiti Chapel provides curriculum-based learning for Social Studies or The Arts.

We will work together with schools to provide a camp tailored to your students' needs and learning levels. For more details, ask for a copy of the El Rancho school manual on Education Outside the Classroom.

El Rancho Values Programme

One of the reasons for El Rancho's existence is to communicate Christian values to young people. Our staff are delighted to offer a free one-hour programme that achieves this in a creative and fun way. All programmes include ice-breaker type games and plenty of crowd interaction to establish rapport. Themes are Biblically based and may include topics like forgiveness, truth, integrity, and an understanding of basic Christian principles. The presentation is low-key and is sensitive to those of all beliefs.

The programmes are very popular in the evenings when teachers can enjoy the break, but we are happy to arrange them at any time to suit your camp schedule.

Please let us know in advance when you would like your free El Rancho Values Programme.
